A reminder to all members. There is a working party assembling at 10 am on Sunday to tackle essential winter jobs. See you then.

Darts

Surprise, surprise! We lost! All games were close calls, but our inability to get that final double proved our downfall. Captain Terry Evans won both his games, but even his inspirational play could not motivate the team to that elusive win. Nil desperandum, there's always this evening when we are away to the Sun Inn. Participating members please note.

Great Steak Evening

This proved a very popular event with a plethora of ravanous members being treated to superbly prepared food. Many thanks to Terry Evans, Karin Morris and Ruth Tebbutt for their efforts. All agreed that a repeat evening is a must!

Quiz Evening

There is a fun quiz evening tomorrow at the club. All are welcome - quiz master, Terry Evans will be eager to test your general knowledge. This is meant to be a fun evening, so why not come along and have a jolly time in warm and convivial surroundings. He looks forward to 'grilling' you.

Poems and Pints Evening

This popular event takes place next Saturday, February 4. The format of the evening is simple entertainment. Members and friends will be amusing us with jokes, anecdotes, poems etc. Why not come down and be thoroughly entertained over a glass of 'lemonade'.

St. Valentine's Supper

Reservations are now being taken - please contact Terry Evans on 844256 or Daniel Jackson on 813397. It promises to be a lovely evening, so why not spend a romantic evening in one of the best watering holes in the area?

Blues Evening

A very appreciative audience enjoyed another evening of superb music. These evenings get better and better - the standard of music continues to enthral the highly enthusiastic and knowledgeable audience. Even ace doyen of the blues guitar, Terry 'blues flan' Evans, had a go. Many thanks to Terry and Bruce for co-ordinating the event. The next session is on Wednesday, February 15. We look forward to seeing you.
