As mentioned in last week's article, on Sunday, January 29, a working party will begin to tackle the usual winter jobs. If any member can lend a hand, please contact commodore, Daniel Jackson, on 813397, or Rolly Squibbs on 842170.
DARTS
Contrary to last week's article, a cup match did take place. Unfortunately we lost, yet again! This evening's match is at home to the Basscatchers. Participating members please note.
GREAT STEAK EVENING
This popular evening takes place tomorrow (Saturday) evening. I understand there are still a few places left. Any member wishing to partake of this sumptuous feast should contact Terry Evans on 844256. Perhaps the attraction of real homemade chips will tempt you. He looks forward to feeding you.
CLUB CALENDARS AND REGALIA
Club calendars for 2006 and regalia are available from membership secretary, Julia Dashfield. The calendars are superbly prepared and are ideal for presents - and there's a sale on! Please contact Julia on 844918 for further details.
ST. VALENTINE'S SUPPER
This gourmet evening takes place on Saturday, February 11. Great news! The club has acquired the services of Chart House, a well known and respected local catering organisation. To make the evening viable, there is a minimum requirement as far as numbers is concerned, so the support of members is paramount. The menu looks most mouth-watering, so why not enjoy a romantic meal in warm and convivial surroundings. For further details and reservations, please contact Terry Evans on 844256 as soon as possible. It promises to be a great culinary experience.
ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS
It's that time of year. Annual subscriptions are now due. For further details, please contact membership secretary, Julia Dashfield.
