The course was set in keeping with the shifty northerly wind force 3-4 blowing over the cliffs. After some initial close encounters, the final 1-2-3-4 was: 1. Ted Lewis in a Phantom - yes it actually was him this week; 2. Mike Stace and Deanna in a Redwing; 3. Rolly Squibbs and Colin Parmenter in a Redwing; 4. Paul Evenden and Anthea Paterson in a Wayfarer Nathan Spiller in his Vortex was in contention until he broke his tiller extension and had to retire. Racing as usual this Sunday aiming for a prompt 11 am start. The junior sail training will begin on Wednesday, April 27 - members and parents please note.
