Conditions on Sunday were such that sailing was not possible which disappointed the sailors that turned up.
Nil deperandum, the training and sailing day will be re-scheduled for the near future, watch this space.

As mentioned last week, the social calendar for the autumn has been finalised. Would members please note the following dates:
Saturday, October 6 - "Lifting up' BBQ; October 13 - Greenhill Jazz Band; November 3 - Fireworks with a Chinese flavour; November 17 - Quiz night; November 23 - annual dinner at the Park Hotel; December 1 - annual general meeting; December 8 - Junior party; December 15 - Christmas Poems and Pints evening; December 22 - Christmas carvery; December 31 - New year's Eve party.
Both darts teams lost to strong opposition. Nevertheless Terry Evans, helm of the divine GP14 managed a maximum 180 and is still celebrating.
