The Rotary Club of Tenby sponsored the Tenby v Pembroke rugby match last Saturday and as part pf the sponsorship have purchased a new 'Junior Rugby Invitation Challenge Shield' to be played for on an annual basis. The first contest for the shield was when Tenby RFC Under 13s played Whitland RFC Under 13s in a match at the Heywood Lane ground as a curtain- raiser to last Saturday's senior match. The inaugural winners were Tenby, who will be the first to have their names on the shield, with the 'man-of-the-match', selected by the referee, being Tenby second row forward Dominic Hicks.
