Road closures for parts of Tenby will be in place towards the end of the month and into March.
Traffic restrictions will be in place along Bridge Street from Monday, February 26 (originally intended for February 5) for six weeks to allow for water mains replacement works to take place.
The ‘temporary restrictions’ order from Pembrokeshire County Council will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic (other than exempted vehicles) from proceeding along the section of Bridge Street, from its junction with St. Julian’s Street west to its junction with Crackwell Street, so that Welsh Water can carry out the work.
The alternative route for traffic will be via St Julian’s Street, Tudor Square, High Street and Crackwell Street, which will be temporarily made two-way to enable access to properties located along its length where practicable.
A road closure for Lower Frog Street for carriageway reconstruction to take place will commence on March 5 for the duration of two weeks.
