Pembrokeshire County Council intends to close Park Road and Lower Park Road on Sunday in order to install anti-skid surfacing to part of the carriageway (in the region of the bridge at Tysell Court). The temporary road closure will come into effect at 7.45 am and the road will be re-opened later in the day, at the earliest possible time. Park Road and Lower Park Road will be closed from its junction with Edward Street, north to the junction with the mini-roundabout at The Green. The alternative route for this traffic will be via Penally Road, Warren Street and Greenhill Road. Pedestrian and vehicular access will be maintained to affected properties for the duration of the closure. The new surfacing can only be installed in good weather conditions; so if the weather is poor, a future date will have to be arranged.
