At the last meeting of the RNLI fund-raising committee plan were made for the forthcoming Pancake Races which will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 12 noon in Tudor Square.
There will be races for all children of all ages plus an adults’ and chefs’ race, all culminating in the much anticipated crew race. Registration will open at 11 am, outside The Baytree.
The following Friday, March 1 the Qube are hosting a ‘Posh Fish and Chip Supper’ in aid of the RNLI from 6.30 pm. Tickets and bookings are available at the Qube so don’t miss out on what promises to be a great evening.
Once again, the Tenby RNLI shop has had a record –breaking year , and is the second most profitable lifeboat shop in Britain. Much of this is due to our own shop manager, the dynamic Doreen Mortimer, but more volunteers are urgently needed.
If you can spare two hours a week, or would be happy to be even an occasional helper, in the shop with the best view in Tenby, get in touch with Doreen or call in at the shop when it opens on February 25th. You will meet some lovely people and even, occasionally get to see the lifeboat in action.
We hope to see you all at one of our events, or in the shop helping to keep the Tenby lifeboat and crew ready to save lives when needed.
