On Sunday, July 12, the Tenby committee held their annual Strawberry Tea afternoon at the Sailing Club in Tenby. It was a lovely sunny afternoon, and everyone was able to enjoy their excellent scones and strawberries sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine.

Mid afternoon the Salvation Army Band arrived to play for the open-air service held outside St. Julian's Church.

Thanks go to Rev. Michael John, of St. Mary's, and Major Martin Clements, of the Salvation Army, for all their help in organising this much enjoyed annual service.

The committee also wish to thank everyone who came along to support them. They have already decided to hold both events on the same day next year.

The excellent sum of £613 was raised for RNLI funds from the bucket collection at the service and the strawberry teas.

The next event will again be at the harbour. The Frantic Five Concert, with a barbecue, will be held on Sunday evening, August 16.
