ON Monday, Graham Waring retired as coxswain of Tenby Lifeboat.

Graham joined the lifeboat crew in 1978 and became coxswain in January of this year.

Everyone at the station would like to wish him well.

He handed over to Phillip John after a presentation on Sunday evening.

Phillip's family has a longstanding link to the town's RNLI, with his father, the late Johnny John, being a second coxswain, and his brother, Robert, also currently seving on the crew.

Phillip joined the lifeboat crew in 1994, with Robert joining a year later.
