I suspect by now that everyone will have seen that the old RBL Club in Lower Frog Street, Tenby, has closed.
I would just like to tell everyone and our branch members that the Tenby branch of the Royal British Legion is still going strong, despite not having a RBL club to meet in....
We moved our meeting place in July, 2010, to the Hazelwell Club, Tenby, where we have been meeting every other month.
We have a new committee. Gordon Prime, now our president, kept us strong and we have established ourselves and have been welcomed at the Hazelwell Club. Chris Morris is our chairman, Tony Webster is our vice-chairman, while I (Shirley Goldsworthy) am secretary and treasurer.
Our next meeting will be held in the Hazelwell on Tuesday, September 20, at 12.30 for 1 pm. We ask, please, for as many members to join us, as it would be a shame to let our branch die.
