Sir,
Tenby cash machines ran out of money or broke down over the Bank Holiday weekend which left a lot of cash businesses in a sticky situation. Some retailers were also unable to offer cash back due to a lack of money available in town.
Luckily, Tenby Post Office was open its usual hours of 8.30 am - 7.30 pm all over the whole of the Bank Holiday weekend.
From Good Friday to Easter Monday, there were over 600 cash withdrawals made at the Post Office, with an average transaction value of £60.
On Easter Monday, there was a cash withdrawal every three minutes, and over the rest of Easter weekend, there was a cash withdrawal every six minutes.
Over 600 people were provided with much needed cash to spend in Tenby.
Many locals and local businesses are able to bank with the Post Office.
With local banks closing, then we need you to support Tenby Post Office that provides vital services for our local community.
Fi and Vince Malone,
Tenby Post Office,
Warren Street,
Tenby
