Selection of the Top 100 follows a rigorous mystery shopping programme across the UK using the IAA’s industry-leading benchmarks that measure the simple things that retailers can do to provide excellent service to shoppers.

The ranking follows a rigorous in-store assessment using the IAA’s industry-leading benchmarks that measure the simple things you can do to provide excellent service to shoppers.

A shortlist of eight retailers across 12 categories will be announced on September 19 and will go forward to the judging day.

The finalists will be announced at the Local Shop Summit on October 12 at Twickenham Stadium and the winners will be revealed on December 1 at the IAA Gala Dinner in Canary Wharf, London.

“We’re really quite chuffed with making the nominations top 100 list, one of only five stores across Wales to do so,” commented the Tenby Post Office Store/Premier Express manager Vince Malone.
