Bloom congrats

Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Mrs. Julie Evans, congratulated the Tenby in Bloom committee on another successful event at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council.

Memorial plaque

Tenby Town Council are to write to Pembrokeshire County Council asking for permission for a memorial plaque commemorating the death of four local church members to be sited at the town's War Memorial.

The plaque was removed from the old Presbyterian chapel in Lower Frog Street when it ceased to be a place of worship 20 years ago.

Skate park plans

Skate park designers are to be asked to create a facility for Tenby.

As recently reported, a 10 x 25-metre area has been identified for such an area at The Salterns and now councillors are to ask several companies to come up with designs and costings.
