HARD-working Tenby musical duo 'Ella Guru' have found time during a busy schedule to produce a CD.

Timed to coincide with the Tenby Blues Festival (November 14-16), the CD contains, naturally enough, a selection of Blues songs. Ranging in style from Funky Soul Blues songs of Sam Brown's 'Stop' and Tracey Chapman's 'Give me one reason' through to rasping slide guitar versions of 'Little Red Rooster' and 'Sell My Monkey', there is even a Blues re-write of Marc Bolan's 'I Love To Boogie'.

Husband and wife Richie and Arleen Westmacott have been performing together for a number of years. They have appeared on Radio Wales and on Pembrokeshire Radio and have supported guitar legend Albert Lee, Blue heroes Dr. Feelgood as well as the masterful Welsh songwriter and singer Martyn Joesph.

As well as Blues music, Ella Guru include a variety of styles in their act, ranging from Reggae to Rock, as well as original material. They can be found performing regularly throughout West Wales.

Ella Guru will be playing in 'The Bush' as part of Tenby's Blues Festival, on Saturday, November 15, at 4 pm.

The new CD is available at Dales Music Shop, Tenby.
