IT was a popular feature of their Channel 4 show, now presenters and broadcasters Richard and Judy have recently relaunched their 'Book Club' feature and a Tenby mother has been one of the first to join the husband and wife team of panellists to review a current novel.

Sixty-four-year-old Lou Carnell-Evans, of Tenby, gave her verdict on the crime thriller 'Sister' by author Rosamund Lupton, in a review featured in Richard and Judy's Book Club published in a recent edition of the popular magazine Woman's Own.

"Having a sister and knowing how different we are from each other, this novel captured my imagination from the start," wrote Lou.

Richard and Judy launched the Book Club originally in 2004 on their talk show, as a chance to champion new and up-and-coming authors and encourage the nation to not only read books, but to talk about them as well.

The Book Club now runs exclusively in conjunction with WH Smith.
