The Mayor of Tenby was recently invited by the 10 (Assaye) Battery Royal Artillery division

to open their new refurbished history room over the festive period.

10 (Assaye) Battery, who are based at Thorney Island in Hampshire, have a long affiliation

with Tenby and are the only army division to have been given the freedom of the town.

Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, along with her Mayoress, Ms. Sam Reohorn, are pictured

with the Battery commander and members of the regiment.

"It was a wonderful reception and a pleasure to open the new history room," said Clr.

Mrs. Lane.
