A honeymoon in the Caribbean followed the recent wedding at St. Andrew's Church, Narberth, of Mr. Rob Garland and Miss Hayley Evans. The groom, head chef at the Stable Inn, Burton, is the son of Mr. Conway Garland and the late Mrs. Beth Garland, of Knowling Mead, Tenby, while the bride, an administrative assistant with Carmarthenshire County Council, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Evans, of Brookfield, Narberth. Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory satin bodice with chiffon sleeves and skirt, which had a semi-fishtail train. Both the skirt and bodice had chiffon overlay. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Miss Jo Garland, and Miss Louise Davies, bride's friend. Best man was Mr. Steve Hayden, friend, and the ushers were Messrs. Justin Richards and Ben James. The service was conducted by Rev. Peter Lewis and a solo was rendered by the bride's uncle, Geoff Morse. A reception was held at Heywood Mount Hotel, Tenby. The couple will be making their home in Clunderwen.
