The Melhuish family from Aberdare were special guests at the September meeting of the Tenby Lions Club at the Giltar Hotel, to receive a donation of £1,000 on behalf of the Harriet Davis Trust.

President of the Lions, Derek MacGarvie, said: “The Lions have had a long association with the Harriet Davis Trust and we are very pleased to be able to support this very special Pembrokeshire charity.”

Elizabeth Sleight, development manager for the charity, said: “We are thrilled to receive this very generous donation from Tenby Lions and it couldn’t have come at a better time as we are planning to start the refurbishment project on our Giltar View property in Tenby in the New Year. We are so grateful for their help.”
