Two licensing applications for Tenby were considered by members of the town council at their remote meeting on Tuesday night.
Premises licence for ‘off-sales’ put forward to Pembrokeshire County Council for the following premises were discussed: one for Lollies Traditional Sweet Shop on High Street; and the other for The Welsh Gift Shop on Upper Frog Street.
“In relation to the licensing, while some members expressed concern at the growing number of licensed premises in the town, it was felt that, as the applicants were showing how they would meet the four licensing objectives, there were no grounds to make any representations against either application,” said the clerk to Tenby town council Andrew Davies following the meeting.
Councillors’ recommendations will now be submitted to PCC’s licensing department.
