The December meeting was recently held at the home of Circler Kath Morgan. Chairman Jayne welcomed her president Debs, honorary members Michelle and Julia, prospective members and all other members. Chairman Jayne then took great delight in inducting new members Jayne Colley and Charlotte Key.
Members are reminded that the 'Auction of Promises' takes place on Friday, January 30, at Tenby Rugby Club - tickets cost £5. All members are expected to donate a promise of some sort.
Other dates for January include the area meeting in Bridgend, Friday 9th, and the Area Ball at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Saturday 24th - cost £27.50 per person. Names and numbers for both these events are requested by chairman Jayne as soon as possible.
Reports on events from over the past month were as follows:
Andrea reported on the Pandora's Box which took place after the November meeting, with the money raised going to Inner Wheel's chosen charity 'DEBRA'.
Kath Morgan reported on an evening of ten-pin bowling, followed by a visit to the Chinese restaurant.
Brenda reported on Circle's recent effort at the quiz in aid of Tenby AFC.
Finally, chairman Jayne gave the report on the recent Tangent dinner, where the guest speaker was Deborah Griffiths, who had appeared in the first series of 'The Coal House' on the BBC.
To finish the meeting, chairman Jayne wished all members a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Following the meeting, members enjoyed drinks and a buffet.
The January meeting will be at the home of president Debs, on Thursday, January 8.
