The November meeting was recently held at the home of Julie Murray-Collier. Chairman Jayne welcomed honorary member Julia Sweet and all other members, along with prospective members Jayne and Charlotte.

Reports for the previous month were as follows: Andrea reported on the recent 'sleepover' in aid of the area project. The girls enjoyed a fun night of pampering, movies and indulgence. Chairman Jayne reported on the Rotary fireworks night, where Circlers served Welsh cakes and bacon rolls and finally, Julia reported on the remembrance parade that she took part in along with president Debs and past president Jane.

Forthcoming dates start with bowling, followed by Chinese on Wednesday, November 26, partners and guests welcome - names to Andrea as soon as possible. Ladies Night is Friday, December 5, at Trefloyne - names please to Sian. Christmas dinner is at 'The Mews' on Saturday, December 13 - any past members interested are to contact dinner secretary Cath Graham.

The December meeting will be held at the home of Kath Morgan after Circlers have attended the Christmas carol service at St. Mary's Church. Members are asked to bring a gift to the value of £8 to go under the Christmas tree, along with a plate of food, while council members are asked to provide the drink for the evening.

Looking ahead to January and the next area meeting is to be held on Friday, January 9, in Bridgend, and the Auction of Promises will be held at the Rugby Club, on Friday, January 30.
