The October meeting of Tenby Ladies Circle was held at Bar 10 where Circlers wore pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. Chairman Jayne gave a warm welcome to her president Debbie Davies and honorary member Michelle Grigg.

Chairman Jayne reported that since the last meeting, she had attended Coffee and Chat which was held at an Indian Restaurant in Carmarthen. A raffle was held with proceeds donated to breast cancer. There were no monthly reports.

New health and safety officer, Mel, who had forgotten her role, interrupted the minutes to point out where the bar, toilets and fire exits were. She then attempted to resign from her new post, but failed.

Chairman Jayne reminded everyone that boxes for Operation Christmas Child were due as soon as possible. She had leaflets if anyone had not received one.

Circlers were asked to provide 1lb of dough for the Rotary firework night. Please give to chairman Jayne if you are unable to attend on the evening.

Forthcoming dates: October 20 - Friendship Challenge in Llanelli; November 1 - Rotary fireworks at the rugby field, 1lb dough needed; November 13 - Pandora's Box (venue to be confirmed); November 14 - Battle of Britain service at St. Mary's Church; November 15 - area rally; November 19 - Talk by Deborah Griffiths of 'Coal House'; November 26 - social evening, bowling followed by a meal (contact Andrea if interested); December 11 - Town Carol Service at St. Mary's Church (prior to the December meeting); December 13 - Christmas dinner at The Mews, meeting at the Stage Door at 7 pm; January 9 - area meeting at Bridgend (contact Edna if interested); January 30 - Auction of Promises (venue to be confirmed).

The next meeting will be on November 13 and will incorporate Pandora's Box, venue to be confirmed.
