May's meeting of Tenby Ladies Circle was held at the home of the new chairman, Julia, who gave a warm welcome to president Michelle and honorary Jane to their final meeting.
Jayne reported on the handover, where they heard great speeches. A message from Robbie was read out for Julia? Chan was named Circler of the Year. It was an enjoyable evening and Jayne thanked everyone for their support. Cheryl reported on the Point to Point, where all arrived with their picnic hampers. Julia was recognised after her handover photograph was in the paper. It was a great day out, so book the date next year. Michelle reported on the Tea Dance. Jayne, Julia, Chez and Michelle herself had attended. Although only a few had turned out, they had a bit of fun. Julia reported on the Soroptimist Dinner. It was an enjoyable evening, a relaxed dinner and an early night?
Katie reported on the Dogs in Swansea. The evening began with champagne and strawberries at Julia's. It was then onto the bus and when they arrived in Swansea there were a few surprised faces! After the races, it was time to hit the bar, when the 'Three Degree' performed, namely Julia, Jenny and Sarah - another fun evening.
Subs should be with Cheryl immediately. Julia's president for her forthcoming year is Ruth Webb, with honoraries Averil Upham and Debbie Davies.
