Tenby's A team had a very tough game against Whitland, but managed to score two excellent tries during the first half. The first came after some quick thinking from Thomas, who side-stepped his way through before feeding Billy Kinear, who scored in the corner.

Whitland hit back immediately, with their number 10 running through a few weak tackles to score.

Tenby went straight back on the attack, with Dom Booth crossing for a try.

During the second half, Whitland took the game to Tenby, but good defence from Henry McBeth, Harvey Bowles and Dylan Scotcher prevented them from scoring. 

Iori Hicks had a great second half and was rewarded for his quick thinking with an opportunist try. Next on the score sheet was man-of-the-match Ben Millward, who ran and dummied his way over in the corner.

The final try came from Harri Williams, who received a quick pass which he dummied to send three Whitland defenders the wrong way to cross over.

Training as usual for the U 9s is 5 - 6 pm on Thursday at Greenhill's astroturf. Everyone welcome.
