Tenby were quickest off the mark and soon settled into their game, scoring their first try following a good movement in the Cardigan 22. Robbie Tuttle gathered the ball from a maul and powered over the line from 20 yards to open Tenby's account, with Ollie Morgan adding the conversion.
Cardigan restarted, but the Tenby forwards ran straight back at their defence, producing good second phase ball for Sam Foster to feed the backs.
Ollie Morgan crossed the gain line every time, for centres Bobby Briers and Daniel Colley to pierce holes in the Cardigan defence, enabling Mathew Flemming and Josh Bevan to attack from the wings.
However, second row forward Paul Brooks, having his best game to date for the Swifts, pounced on a loose ball on the 10-metre line and outstripped the defence to score a cracking try under the posts, which was converted, making the interval score 14-0.
Tenby kicked off the second half. The forwards continued to produce good ball and, following some lovely play by the backs, outside-half Ollie Morgan regained possession and weaved his way over the line for another superb try, which was again converted.
Tenby now made changes, with Luke Deadman and Henry Boot coming on and settling into the side.
Tenby forwards Rob Clark, James Davies, James Dick, Jack Bevan, Jack Lawrence and Ieaun Rowell all had excellent games.
Robbie Tuttle sealed the game, powering his way through to score a fine try from 40 yards.
Cardigan scored a final try making the score 26-7.
This was an excellent performance from the boys, who all gave 100 per cent and can look forward to next week's 10-a-side tournament at Neyland.

TENBY U14s 57 pts FURNACE U14s 17
On Good Friday, the Swifts U14s travelled out of the county to take on Furnace U14s, where a warm welcome awaited them. Due to a shortage of U14s players, it was agreed that both sides would field two U15s players.
In glorious sunshine, Tenby kicked off. Furnace attacked from the off, but the Tenby defence held firm.
After five minutes the Swifts themselves attacked from deep, keeping the ball in hand through the backs, and winger Richard Williams who was being welcomed back following a nasty knee injury, showed that he had lost none of his pace as he raced in from over 30 yards to open their account. Adam Ball kicked a fine touchline conversion.
Five minutes later scrum half, Rhys Thomas, who was having an excellent game, pinched the ball from his opposite scrum-half during a scrum and raced 40 yards for a cracking try, which was again converted.
At this point, to Furnace's credit, they hit back with two quick tries to bring the score to 14-10.
Tenby knew they had to up their game, and the captain, Adam Ball, leading by example, crashed over and converted the try himself.
Jay French was next on the score sheet, showing his pace and scoring in the corner, to bring the half-time score to 20 - 10.
Furnace kicked off the second half and Adam Hughes, showing great hands, collected the kick and raced back at the home defence. The Tenby forwards were now on top, Arron Sutton, Duncan Meacher and Joe Smith all showing great strength in the loose, enabling Nick Drewitt to power over for a converted try.
Adam Ball was next over the line, and Tenby were now streaming forward.
To Furnace's credit, they never gave up and came back with a well-worked try.
Ben Field-Thomas was next to pierce the defence with a cracking try from the halfway line.
The try of the match came from a solid Tenby scrum on halfway. Rhys Thomas fed the backs, the ball was passed along the line to wing Richard Williams, who scored in the corner, which was converted to bring the score up to 50 points.
Last try of the day was scored by Tom James, breaking from halfway to score behind the posts, and making the final score 57 - 17.
This was a fine all-round display. The coaches would like to thank the parents for their support and help with transport, and also Furnace for a warm welcome on and off the pitch. They now look forward to a return match at the end of the season.
