Tenby is part of the biggest Global Climate March ever

At the moment in Paris, nearly 150 world leaders are negotiating the next global climate deal. That’s why last Sunday people around the world took to the streets to push leaders to commit to 100 per cent green energy.

From Sao Paulo to Sydney, 785,000 people marched in over 2,300 events in 175 countries, with many countries having the largest climate marches in their history. In Yemen, people marched with bombs falling close to the route.

In Tenby, 30 people from all over Pembrokeshire came together on a cold and windy day to support the global effort to get some action on climate change. Photos and videos have been sent to the summit in Paris, where they will be screened for the world leaders to see.

The summit continues for another week to try to get a global deal on cutting carbon emissions beyond 2020 and agreeing finance to help poorer badly affected countries to cope with climate change.
