Tenby-based Seren School of Irish Dancing recently hosted their first ever competition at the town's De Valence Pavilion.
With 185 competitors from across Wales featuring children from Tenby and Saundersfoot and as far as Swansea and Port Talbot, the event, held on Sunday, February 22, proved to be a memorable occasion and a great success.
Under the guidance of their dance teacher Cheryl John, who is a member of the Irish dancing association CRN (Cumann Rince Náisiúnta), pupils from the Seren School picked up plenty of accolades during the competition, with 12 firsts, seven 2nds, five 3rds and 20 highly commended.
