Various winners from Tenby in Bloom met together for the a presentation evening last week.

The Mayor, Clr. Laurence Blackhall and Deputy Mayor Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane, who is also chairman of Tenby in Bloom presented the awards.

The overall winner was Mr. Aty Beor-Roberts who was presented with the ‘Rose Bowl’. Participants enjoyed discussing their various displays and shared ideas for future years.

Congratulating all participants the Mayor issued a challenge for everybody to persuade one person to enter the competition next year.

He said Tenby In Bloom has a proud history and it would be fabulous if more people joined in next year. The standard was higher than ever and he knew the judges were really impressed with what everyone had achieved.

Clr. Mrs Lane said Tenby continues to excel itself and the standard gets higher and higher each year with people taking pride in their town.

“Everyone is a winner and the town is certainly a winner,” she said
