THE backdrop of Tenby harbour has proved to be a great attraction in brightening up train journeys throughout Wales after being handed a ‘toilet role’.

The iconic image of Pembrokeshire’s jewel in the crown has been used as a trial for an overhaul of Arriva Trains Wales’ on-train toilets.

“As part of our plan to refurbish our on-train toilets, we wanted to trial the use of picture vinyls on the toilet walls in order to brighten up the cubicles,” said a spokesperson for the train company.

“We chose the iconic Tenby Harbour image as we thought that the colourful image would do just the job and the image has also been featured in our recent ‘Great Attractions’ campaign.

“We’ve had some great feedback from the trial project over Twitter,” they added.
