THE Harbour, the popular series about life on the Tenby waterfront, is to be shown on ITV across the UK from Monday, October 30 (8pm).

One of the most watched series to be screened on ITV Wales in recent years, The Harbour, made by Welsh independent producer Slam Media, will be shown in a four-week run on the main ITV channel.

Filmed through the seasons, the series follows the extraordinary characters who have made Tenby their home and who work on its busy waterside (some of whom are pictures here). Contributors include the local harbourmaster, cafe owners, artists and volunteers at the RNLI lifeboat station.

The series was shown on ITV Wales in 2016. Executive producer, Jonathan Hill, said: “The Harbour was hugely popular amongst viewers in Wales. We hope the UK audience will enjoy it as much as Welsh viewers did.”

Aled Llyr, director of Slam Media, said: “We’re delighted that The Harbour is getting a UK-wide showing. The series is the story of the men and women of Tenby’s waterfront whose way of life is in tune with the sea, the seasons and tourists. It’s great that their story can be shared with a wider audience - putting this magical little corner of Pembrokeshire well and truly on the map.”
