New Captain
At the Annual General Meeting, on September 23, Mary Rowell stepped down as club captain and Bob Lusher took up the reins.
Mary has had a very good year as captain and many thanks are due to Mary for her gentle hand on the tiller and for all her efforts during the year. Best wishes to Bob for the coming year.
Langland Bay
The club's new captain has had an early success as he lead the club to a victory in the bi-annual match against Langland Bay which took place at Tenby on Saturday.
Both clubs fielded big teams and Tenby won by 8.5 to 5.5. The Tenby team members were Bob Lusher and Bob Parsons, Steve Amos and Richard Ormond, Mervyn Tucker and Richie Hyland, Los Phillips and Martin Morris, Scott Davies and Roger Schooling, Paul Heyward and Gary McNeilly, Paul Hoyland and Nigel Ayres, Owen Thomas and David Hughes, Dave Cope and Phil Keating, Gary McKewan and Phil Goodridge, Mike Anthony and Ian Thomas, Mike Wainwright and Alan Keating and Ken Goldsbrough and David Lemon. Well done to all the team. Unfortunately, overall Tenby lost this year due to an earlier loss at Langland Bay.

This cup was presented to the club by Kathleen Usher in 1972 in memory of her late husband Walter.
