Pembrokeshire girls Alexandra Wyn Smith and Caroline Spindlove have landed jobs at Cardiff Bay based full-service agency Merlin Marketing and Public Relations. Alexandra Wyn Smith has left behind the Tenby coastline to join the well-established marketing team as account executive. A psychology graduate from the University of Wales, Cardiff, Alex has recently succeeded in gaining a professional diploma in marketing. Alex cut her teeth in her home county of Pembrokeshire with roles for the Swansea Institute of Higher Education and Way Out West working with clients such as Woolworths, and on exhibitions, including The World Travel Market, Showcase Wales and Confex. Also leaving Tenby behind is Caroline Spindlove in her new role managing front of house duties at Merlin. An English and media studies graduate from the University of Plymouth, her last position as restaurant manager at Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey's Hurst House pub in Laugharne should provide her with the requisite sense of humour needed to survive at the company. Cardiff Bay-based Merlin Marketing and PR is a full service marketing agency specialising in public relations, event management, creative graphic design, interactive media, television and video production.
