TENBY U11s 8
KILGETTY U11s 3
The Seasiders started the livelier and scored from the kick-off when Josh Koop collected a pass from Daniel Edwards, went outside one defender and sent in a low cross for Alex Heesom to rifle past the visiting 'keeper.
Heesom added number two minutes later following an almost identical move involving Koop and Phil Horsley. Koop then notched the third for Tenby when he again beat his marker on the outside and hit a lovely left-footed shot inside Kilgetty 'keeper Watkins' near post.
At this point, Kilgetty were finding it difficult to keep any real possession or shape, while Josh Koop seemed to do no wrong and he quickly claimed his second of the match, this time cutting inside his opponent to score.
However, a crucial moment in the game occurred after a misunderstanding in the home defence which allowed the Kilgetty striker, C. Milward, to pull a goal back. This goal gave the visitors the incentive they needed and they eventually settled down and played some good football for the remainder of the half.
Milward's goal, the first that Tenby have conceded all year, unsettled the home team, and Kilgetty took full advantage of this and got a second, this time through P. Elliot. Loui Fecci pulled off a good save and quickly released Ashley Smith who, along with Philip Horsley, ran tirelessly throughout. Smith dribbled the ball up field and scored a somewhat lucky goal when his long range effort slipped under Watkins' body.
Just before the interval, Milward got Kilgetty's third to keep them in the game.
The second half was relatively even, until Robert Fairlie collected a ball deep inside his own half and fed Gareth Warlow who produced a superb through ball for Koop to run onto and score.
Fairlie, whose defensive heading throughout the match was brilliant, set up goal number seven. His header out of defence was flicked on by Leo Moreland for Koop to score.
Towards the end of the match Oliver Worley netted from close range following good work by Moreland, Heesom and Smith.
Tenby side: L. Fecci, L. Moreland, D. Edwards, R. Fairlie, P. Horsley, A. Smith, G. Warlow, A. Heesom, O. Worley, J. Koop.
LETTERSTON U16s 4 TENBY U16s 6
A very sorry bunch of lads travelled to Letterston this week dogged with injuries, the flu and only having the bare 11, it was going to be tough.
And tough it was. Tenby battled throughout and even when they lost Muthalib Sofan in the second half as he was too ill to carry on, they battled well with only 10 men for the remainder of the game.
Scorers were Bruce Tasker, Nicky Cope (his first for Tenby and a top drawer goal), Lloyd Wilson, Adam Ball, Andrew Culshaw and David Jones.
TENBY 6 ST. CLEARS 2
The third meeting in as many weeks for the two sides and it was set to be an exciting fixture. It was a hard physical game in which both teams gave their all, but Tenby proved to be too strong for the visitors, with the final score at 6-2.
GIRLS FOOTBALL
UNDER 10s: Tenby Tigers met Goodwick A, again knowing it would be a tough match. Despite losing 2-0, the Tenby girls competed well. Rhiannon Harley played well in goal and Molly Goforth and Kimberly Alman defended strongly to keep the scoreline down.
Nia Thomas was quieter than usual, but still covered a lot of ground. She was supported by Bethan Osborne and Lois Horsley. Lauren Lewis and young Holly Furlong battled up front, with Holly's tackling being an impressive feature of the match.
Their second match against Goodwick B was an exciting affair, with Kimberly Alman scoring for Tenby to give them three valuable points.

TENBY U14s: The Under 14s continued their good run and collected four points this week.
After a very torrid game against Pembroke Boro, they eventually drew 0-0. It was end-to-end play, with both teams eager to score.
Sophie John made some important saves in this match. Nikki Furlong and Victoria Brace ran tirelessly, with Lucy May tackling solidly at the back. Holly Cloake, Leila May and Lucia Fecci also played.
Most of the second match was spent shooting at the Neyland goal, but try as they might the ball would just not go in the net. Sophie Rees, Nikki, Holly and Sophie John all had several chances, but the girls were relieved when Sophie John eventually scored in the dying seconds. Leila May played extremely well in goal during this match when Neyland made the odd breakthrough.

TENBY U14s 5
HAKIN U14s 3
Tenby drew local top-of-the table Hakin in the first round of the West Wales U14s Cup.
Tenby faced the game with some trepidation, but this was cast aside in the first 10 minutes when Mikey Boswell scored twice to stun the visitors.
Just to prove that it wasn't a fluke, Adam Johns scored Tenby's third with a 30-yard shot that flew into the roof of the net.
Tenby defended well to hold their lead, but Hakin broke through just before half-time to pull a goal back.
Five minutes into the second half, Tenby scored again. Sam Christopher laid off the ball for Boswell to score his hat-trick.
Captain Aaron Goldsmith received a nasty injury and while Tenby were still re-grouping Hakin scored their second goal.
Boswell had an answer to this and scored his fourth soon afterwards. Goldsmith had to be replaced, with Jamie Robins coming on for the last 10 minutes.
Hakin scored their third just before the final whistle, but it was too late to dampen the spirits of the Tenby boys and supporters.
This was an excellent result, with all the squad playing well, especially Billy Vaughan and Richard Thomas in the Tenby goal.
The team are looking forward to the next round draw and to meeting Hakin again in a few weeks in a league clash.
Tenby squad: Richard Thomas, Jamie Robins, Gavin Kinsey, Scott Helmich, Adam Johns, Guto Griffiths, Aaron Goldsmith (capt), Mikey Boswell, Sam Christopher, Joe Scourfield, Luke Dedman, Brett Evans.
Thanks to Dewi and Neil for their excellent management skills and to Nick for running the line.
