SAUNDERSFOOT U10s 0 TENBY U10s 9
The Rumbleway Caravan Park sponsored Tenby Under 10s travelled the short distance to Saundersfoot, for their latest game, where the home club managed to find a playable pitch after the torrential rain which has hit the county in recent days.
Both sides started a little jittery, having not played for a week or two, and the match was mainly contested around the middle of the park.
Tenby could have gone two up in the early stages through Ashley Smith and Alex Heesom, who hit the post and crossbar, respectively, but eventually they made the breakthrough, with Joe Koop scoring the first goal.
The home goalie had a super game making a string of fine saves to deny Smith, Philip Horsley and Gareth Warlow from scoring.
However, it wasn't all Tenby and Saundersfoot had several good chances, but Greg Lees-Griffiths, Daniel Edwards, debutant Cai Evans and Jake Roberts did enough to ensure a clean sheet.
Koop latched onto a Curtis Hurlow pass to grab number two and just before the interval the energetic Ashley Smith deservedly scored the third.
Tenby kept up the constant pressure and, although Saundersfoot battled really well, especially their 'keeper, they had no answer to the visitors' six second half goals.
The impressive Koop collected his hat-trick and Alex Heesom slid one in, thanks to the advice from his dad. Gareth Warlow used his speed to great effect to outstrip his opponents to score with two great shots and finally Daniel Edwards, promoted to attack from defence, scored the last two.
Thanks are extended to Saundersfoot for their after-match hospitality and to Tenby Under 10s' loyal bunch of supporters.

ST CLEARS U13s 1
TENBY U13s 6
Tenby continued their good form with a sound performance at St. Clears in the league cup, where they attacked strongly from the start. Tenby used the strength of Luke Deadman running with the ball to such an effect that he frightened the St. Clears' defence into mistakes on several occasions.
Tenby played the ball well from their own defence, and took the lead after five minutes when Adam Johns put the ball through to Sam Christopher who made no mistake.
This was quickly followed by an excellent cross from Guto Griffiths to Mikey Boswell who put Tenby 2-0 in front.
St. Clears were still recovering from the shock of these goals, but broke away to make the score 2-1 after Richard Thomas had made a brave attempt to push the ball away from danger.
Tenby responded quickly as Adam put Luke Deadman away on the right, for the winger to cut in himself and make the score 3-1.
Luke's running power was put to even greater use just before half-time when after running 75 yards with the ball, his cross was well placed for Sam Christopher to make the half-time score 4-1 to Tenby.
Tenby's defensive abilities were tested for 20 minutes in the second half, with the back four inspired as usual by Jordan Lloyd and Joe Scourfield, with Aaron Goldsmith winning most of his tackles in midfield.
Richard Thomas made a good save when a goal looked likely to help his team break away and counter St. Clears who were tiring with the effort needed to get back into the game.
Runs down the wings by fullbacks Scott Helmich and Brett Evans were now creating further goal-scoring opportunities for their strikers.
A free-kick by Mikey Boswell saw Sam Christopher seize on a rebound to make the score 5-1, which was closely followed by good combination play between Scott and Sam resulting in a pinpoint pass to Michael Halligan who made the score an impressive 6-1.
The three substitutes, Michael Halligan, Henry Boot and Gavin Kinsey, came on and played with great enthusiasm to leave St. Clears well beaten by the hard-working Tenby squad at the final whistle.
Tenby squad: Richard Thomas, Scott Helmich, Jordan Lloyd, Joe Scourfied, Brett Evans, Luke Deadman, Aaron Goldsmith (capt), Adam Johns, Guto Griffiths, Sam Christopher, Mikey Boswell, Michael Halligan, Henry Boot, Gavin Kinsey.
TENBY LADIES 1 NEYLAND 0
Tenby Ladies were still on a high from last week's win against Carmarthen, with Nicola Aston on the right wing keeping Emma very busy at left back and crossing some dangerous balls into the box.
Both teams broke quickly from defence and kept both goalkeepers on the alert and the strong defence of Hazel Sawyer, Imelde Rossi, Carrie Slack and Cally Roberts all had to pull together to check the Neyland attack.
Michaela Bevan, running tirelessly on the left wing, lacked the necessary support to create scoring opportunities.
Ani Nicholas, who had a good game, put in strong tackles and stopped any through balls and Louise Turberfield gave some balance to the attack in central midfield to give support to Kayleigh Davis and Louise Cooper.
Kayleigh and Louise applied pressure to Neyland's strong defence, but were overcome by Neyland's determination.
Denise Powell was put under little pressure and coped with anything thrown at her.
Tenby were not satisfied with the 0-0 draw as they approached the interval. During the break substitutes were made when Selina Morgan replaced Kayleigh Davis and Hayley replaced Ani Nicholls.
During the second half, Carrie Slack and Imelde Rossi made dangerous attacks, resulting in shots, but these were dealt with by the experienced goalkeeper 'Moggie.'
Selina created more chances for her by turning on the defence, but was unlucky to see her shots go wide.
Tenby's lack of organisation created more chances for Neyland, which resulted in corners and necessary clearances from Denise.
Nicola Aston made a dashing run down the wing and passed to Selina, but was brought down by a Neyland player and awarded a free-kick in the 70th minute. Nicola Aston felt that it was her day and decided to take the direct free-kick. She placed the ball, had a look at the goal and decided to shoot. Moggie reacted quickly, but was unable to stop Nicola firing a shot into the top left-hand corner.
With 10 minutes to go, the team kept their composure and fought for every challenge. No more goals were scored to add to Tenby's scoreline.
Everyone worked together to keep the score 1-0 and were revlieved to hear the final whistle and to see a happy Tenby side walk off the pitch.
The team would like to thank Tom Aston for running the line, The Lifeboat Tavern for the food after the game and all supporters for their encouragement.
