TENBY U16s 25 HUNDLETON U16s 1

Tenby Under 16s had their biggest ever win at the Clicketts on Saturday. Hundleton could only field nine players and Tenby had an ideal chance to increase their goal difference. When Mikey Boswell scored the first goal, it was the team's 100 of the season. Almost the whole squad scored in this match, which showed the boys' great team spirit. Thanks to Richard Bridges, who kept goal for Tenby, standing in for Richard Thomas, who was ill. Tenby scorers: Mikey Boswell 8, Rob Colley 4, Luke Dedman 3, Sam Christopher 3, Adam Johns 2, Rhys Winter 2, Michael Halligan, Josh Bevan, Billy Vaughan. The Tenby Cycles and Skateboards sponsored Tenby Under 13s recorded their 13th win of the season and maintain their position at the top of the league. With only four games remaining, any one of five teams can claim the title and this 13-goal spree will certainly enhance the Seasiders' goal difference. Unfortunately for Solva, it was always going to be how many goals they would concede, but they did their part in keeping the score to what it was. However, it was the home team's performance which will give managers, Dene Hurlow and Garry Heesom, cause for concern. In their last game they gave a superb display, but only a few glimpses of that was repeated in this match, which gives rise to the adage 'football's a funny old game.' Chris Millward opened the scoring with a close range shot, following a cross from Phil Horsley, and Jordan Richards made it two, minutes later. Patrick Elliott's corner was hit on to the crossbar by Horsley and Curtis Hurlow was quickest to react to tap the ball over the line. Hurlow grabbed the fourth, sliding in at the near post to convert Richard's cross, and the last goal of the first half fell to Richards, after being set up by Aaron Roberts. Millward got the first three goals after the restart with some excellent finishing and fresh from the bench, Greg Lees-Griffiths, snatched one with a shot from outside the box. Ashley Smith made a good run down the left, which ended with Hurlow completing his hat-trick, and Horsley eventually found the back of the net from eight yards. Richards then got his hat-trick after good interpassing between Rob Fairlie and Dan Farmiloe, and finally, Richards hit his side's 13h, following one of his typical mazy runs. Tenby side: J.
