HUNDLETON U16s 1
TENBY U16s 9
It was a chilly morning as the T. P. Hughes sponsored Tenby U16s played Hundleton for the third time this season.
Rarely do the same players turn out for the hosts, so it was a tentative start as Tenby tried to gauge if Hundleton were going to play their normal physical game.
Tenby probed the Hundleton defence with some glorious play early on, with little threat to their own defence, until Joe took delivery of a great ball from Callum which he dispatched into the back of the net and the floodgates opened.
Tenby were then back into top gear after a few weeks in the doldrums. Lander crossed for Adie to get the second, Callum took the third and Joe, with his now characteristic direct run through the centre, added the fourth. Joe was also responsible for Tenby's fifth goal as Hundleton clawed one back before half-time.
In the second half, the goals continued to come as Tenby played some classy football. Callum scored number six, they were gifted a seventh, Joe got number eight and Adie, spotting the Hundleton goalie out of position, ran through for Tenby's ninth.
A good all-round performance where team spirit seems to have been rekindled!
Thanks to coaches John, John and Neil, Colin on the line, kit sponsors T. P. Hughes and Jameston Village Stores and the touchline support.

Tenby u15s 12 Goodwick u15s 0
Tenby started well, with a long shot by James Bridges finding the far corner of the net, which gave the home team huge confidence after a lean spell in front of goal in the past.
Niall Kinsella got the mid-field working with George Wilkins and this kept the Goodwick defence continually on the back foot.
Aaron James made some dangerous runs for the home side and was unlucky not to get a goal, while Richard Tebbutt showed his usual skill in setting up play and tenacity around the opponents' penalty area.
Rhys Jenkins supported the forwards well in the first half and Luke Conbeer looked threatening on the left flank with some superb running.
Tebbutt added a second for Tenby and Kinsella put his team 3-0 up with a solo effort, before Bridges scored his second goal with a blistering shot into the bottom corner of the net.
Rheinalt George and Robert Davies played well in central defence, with Jacob Dent supporting the midfield.
Tenby looked dangerous and composed for most of the first half and the 4-0 lead was good value, but misleading for Goodwick who seemed unprepared for what was to follow.
Tenby brought on Shaun Whitfield and Jerome Mansbridge as strikers for the second half and dangerous crosses from Bridges and Kinsella had the Goodwick defence in total disarray for most of the half as they sat deep in their penalty area.
Goals came thick and fast for Tenby as Bridges got his hat-trick and Whitfield scored four out of the next five through sheer tenacity, including a superb header from a Bridges corner. He combined well with Jerome Mansbridge. Mansbridge added two himself, with Tebbutt netting his second to make the final score 12-0.
Tenby were able to maintain the necessary tempo to win this match, which was well refereed and offside decisions were kept to a minimum.
In spite of this heavy defeat, the Goodwick players tried hard and kept their dignity throughout.
Tenby squad: Lewis Roberts, Jacob Dent, Rheinalt George, Rob Davies, Luke Conbeer, Rhys Jenkins, Richard Tebbutt, George Wilkins, James Bridges, Aaron James, Shaun Whitfield, Jerome Mansbridge, Niall Kinsella.
Thanks to the supporters on the touchline.
Gowerton U14s 0 Tenby U14s 3
Another inspired performance from the U14s saw them safely through to the next round of the West Wales Cup after a tough encounter away to Gowerton.
Tenby had to work hard in the opening minutes to contain the home side, who were physically strong and put the visitors under a spell of sustained pressure.
Spencer Williams and Owen Coombs (who both seem to have unlimited mileage warranties) did a magnificent job in the defence, backed up by Ben Roberts in his first game back from injury. And despite having plenty of posession in the Tenby half, Gowerton were reduced to a couple of long range shots that were comfortably held by Dan Evans.
Having survived the early onslaught, Tenby relaxed and started to look dangerous on the break.
Charlie Gammer made a strong run down the right, to force a Tenby corner. The ball was cleared, then played back in and Lloyd Hughes crept in at the far post to fire Tenby in front.
Gowerton looked slightly stunned by the sudden turn around, but responded with another spell of fierce pressure. Again, Tenby proved resiliant, with Luke Hartland thwarting attacks down the left and Adam John winning midfield tussles.
As the half progressed, Tenby grew in confidence and started to create more chances. Sam Smith beat the offside trap and lifted the ball over the 'keeper and just wide of the post. Scott Ferney went close after neatly turning a Gowerton defender. And Adam John had a shot stifled by the 'keeper after a great through ball from Sam Smith.
Early in the second half, Tenby increased their lead, after Scott Ferney played in Sam Smith, who expertly chipped the 'keeper from the edge of the area.
A frantic five minutes then followed as Gowerton went all out for an equaliser, throwing more men forward. But Tenby continued to battle bravely, none more so than Declan Escott, who survived a couple of hefty challenges to push forward and go close with a 30-yard shot.
Gowerton continued to pile on the pressure and hit the post, while Daniel Evans made a brilliant reflex save from a powerful close range shot. But in the closing minutes Tenby could have had a hatful.
After some deft passing in the final third, Scott Ferney went close with a couple of shots, one just skimming the outside of the post. And Charlie Gammer was denied by the finger tips of the Gowerton 'keeper.
Scott Ferney then fired off the underside of the bar and Sam Smith pounced smartly to slot in the rebound and put the game beyond doubt. In the dying moments,Tenby almost added a fourth, but Adam John's shot was deflected by a player on the goal line.
With the Tenby squad now virtually back to full strength, the team has every chance of another good cup run.
Thanks to all the supporters who made the trip to Swansea, and to team kit sponsors Park Road Fish and Chips, Tenby.
