Tenby Under 9s 5 Clarbeston Road Under 9s 3
A week last Saturday, Tenby Under 9s played in one of their hardest fixtures of the season. Having just beaten Hakin, Tenby were keen to continue their winning streak and show the rest of the league they are the team to beat.
It was a very exciting game with end-to-end football played by both teams. Clarbeston Road are a very well-trained team and it took the natural footballing skills of the Tenby boys to outplay them in order to secure a very well desrved victory.
Goals from Tenby were scored by Harri Williams, Harry Cook, Harrison Duckett (2) and Henry Mc Beth.
It was a solid team performance showing how well the boys are maturing as footballers, putting together some great moves, but also, defending to help each other when under attack.
Well done lads, the coaching staff were really proud of you on this one!

TENBY U11s 4
The Andrew Price sponsored U11s enjoyed a well deserved victory over Pennar at Bush Camp. The boys had to contend with a strong wind and a very narrow pitch, but credit to them as they always looked to play football.
Tenby were too much for their opponents. The midfield covered every blade of grass and took control of the game, with Billy, George and Rhys working non-stop.
The forward line of Adam and Luke are playing great football and it was Luke who opened the scoring with a well-taken goal. Billy made it 2-0 with a low drive.
The second half saw Natty leave the field and Adam going between the sticks. The defence welcomed back Jordan after eight weeks out with a foot injury; he joined Harry and Ben in a solid back three. Also a player who has really started to play well is Lewis, who can play midfield or slot in at the back.
Luke scored his second and now linking well with Rhys, had the Pennar defence in all sorts of trouble and sure enough after good work from George and Lewis, he slammed home Tenby's fourth.
Pennar never gave up and made the Tenby defenders work hard at times, but they never looked like scoring. So 'well done boys' and thanks for everyone's support.
Team: Natty John, Ben Howells, Jordan Cornick, Harry Goforth (capt.), Lewis Chadman, George Taylor, Rhys Davis, Adam Davidson, Billy Truman, Luke Billing.

MONKTON SWIFTS U14s 1
A sublime cross from Toby early in the game, found an in-form Elliot, who opened the scoring as the T. P. Hughes sponsored team met Monkton, unbeaten in the league so far, at The Clicketts on a blustery day.
Would Tenby come together, keep their cool and play as they have threatened to do lately?
Tenby had the upper hand in the first half, keeping possession and being denied by some sterling defence, but managed to give away a soft goal towards half-time.
Heads high, form maintained, Tenby pressed forward in the second half. Another outstanding piece of play by Toby again found Elliot and he obliged to put Tenby ahead.
A tense final part of the game followed. Monkton broke constantly, but Tenby's new-look defence kept their ground.
A breathtaking save from Corey late on brought gasps from one touchline and silence from the other. The minutes ticked by and ref for the day, John, blew the final whistle.
A great victory with some unbelievable play. Congratulations to every player.
Thanks to coaches John and James, Ted on the line, sponsors T. P. Hughes and Jameston Village Stores and touchline supporters.
Heroes for the day were: Corey Morris, Cheyne Lloyd, Tom Grover, Sam Butler, Rhys Nicholas, Toby Rossiter, Hugo Wellum, Joe Worley, David Webb, Elliot Goldsmith, James Adie, Nathan Farmiloe, Rob Davies.
