HUNDLETON U16s 1 TENBY U16s 2
Tenby Under 16s, sponsored by Willow Carpentry, maintained their position at the top of the league after winning their fifth straight game in a row. However, the Seasiders should have won this match comfortably with the amount of possession they had, but found it hard to break through a resilient Hundleton defence.
Ashley Smith thought he had when he got in behind his defender and side-footed Ashley Andrews's cross home, but Smith was adjudged to be offside. Then the crossbar came to the homeside's rescue when Jordan Richards shot had beaten the Hundleton 'keeper, Tom Russell. Russell was in fine form making two brilliant saves, the first from Richards and the second from Andrews, to deny Tenby. It wasn't until five minutes before the break that Hundleton got their first real chance at goal. Jake Roberts pushing a fierce shot from James Russell over the bar. So, it remained nil-nil at the interval.
Five minutes into the second period and Tenby got the opening goal. A corner from the right by Andrews was met at the near post by Richards, who clipped the ball past Russell. Tenby's lead was almost doubled when Patrick Elliott's free kick found Richards whose shot again beat Russell, but again not the woodwork. However, Richards was not to be denied for too long. After picking up a ball just outside the box, he dribbled his way past several defenders before shooting wide of the home 'keeper.
With 10 minutes remaining, Hundleton were awarded a free kick on the edge of the Tenby box and although the visitors blocked the initial shot, a second shot found its way through a crowd of players to set-up a thrilling climax.
But it was Tenby who finished the strongest with Curtis Hurlow's long free kick striking the crossbar and two good efforts from Richards and Johnnie Delahunty being well saved by that man Russell again.

TENBY U14s 3
CAMROSE U14s 8
A typical autumn morning for this crucial fixture for the T. P. Hughes sponsored side.
Winning two out of three games against Camrose last season - including the epic Cup semi-final - this was surely going to be a close, hard-fought game.
Camrose started quickly, and Tenby could do little to stop them grabbing two early goals with their swift midfield and forwards. Then Cheyne set-off, brushing off several tackles before driving the ball home.
Camrose then capitalised on a goalmouth scramble, taking their third and a wicked deflection sailing past George for their fourth.
Tenby heads dropped until a brilliant ball from Toby found James and he slotted one in. Camrose again broke out at speed and grabbed a fifth.
Tenby heads were up again at the start of the second half and they pressurised the visitors goal with some clean, crisp, skilful play, being denied by the post and the desperate efforts of the Camrose defence, determined not to give anything away.
Then, very much against the run of play, Camrose stole back the initiative and scored three more goals. But Tenby still rallied and were rewarded by a late goal from David, making a very welcome return from injury.
The scoreline could be a little flattering. Camrose were dangerous, but not dominant. Maybe they just wanted this victory more than Tenby did.
Thanks to training top sponsors Jameston Village Stores, coach John, linesman Ted, kit sponsors T. P. Hughes, and the touchline gang who supported the players wholeheartedly to the end.
Squad: George McBeth, Cheyne Lloyd, Tom Grover, Jack Murphy, Sam Butler, Hugo Wellum, Joe Worley, Toby Rossiter, Rhys Nicholas, James Adie, Elliot Goldsmith, David Webb, Nathan Farmiloe.
Narberth U13s 0
Tenby U13s 11
Tenby overcame some early resistance from Narberth to record a resounding win.
Playing up the slope, Tenby played the ball quickly to Elliott Rivers on the right flank to use his pace to good effect, and then switched it quickly to Jerome Mansbridge whose runs with the ball caused panic in the home defence before he cut in to open the scoring. As Tenby pressurised the home defence, the ball broke loose for Brandon Taylor-Monaghan to volley the ball in stylishly to make the score 2-0.
Narberth attacked well down the flanks on several occasions, causing Marcus Read and Shaun Whitfield to clear quickly at the edge of the Tenby penalty area where they got good support from Jack Tranter and Nathan Wilson in marking and tackling opponents.
James Bridges, Richard Tebbutt and George Wilkins worked hard to control the mid-field on what was a grassy, but tiring pitch. Several through passes were either cleared by the Narberth defence or blocked by the home goalkeeper, and some tremendous crosses from Jerome Mansbridge passed across the goal dangerously, before he ran through to make the score 3-0 at half-time.
The second half was almost totally dominated by Tenby, who took much more care with their passing and supported each other well. Eight goals were scored from a number of excellent moves each with an equally good finish.
Jerome Mansbridge added two more goals and with one from Ellis Morgan the goalscoring opportunities were converted. Richard Tebbutt scored two more against a tiring defence and Elliott Rivers got some reward for some excellent runs down the flank to make the score 9-0.
Ellis Morgan, Robert Davies and Luke Conbeer all made good second half contributions to demonstrate the depth and team spirit of the Tenby squad.
George Wilkins added to his effective midfield play by curling in a tenth goal, which did not stop Narberth fighting back with some corners, bringing a diving save from Lewis Roberts in the closing stages to preserve another clean sheet. Richard Tebbutt rounded off the match by scoring the 11th goal.
Tenby squad: Lewis Roberts, Nathan Wilson, Shaun Whitfield, Marcus Read, Jack Tranter, Elliott Rivers, Richard Tebbutt, George Wilkins, James Bridges, Brandon Taylor-Monaghan, Jerome Mansbridge, Ellis Morgan, Robert Davies, Luke Conbeer.
Tenby players-of-the-match: Jack Tranter, Jerome Mansbridge, Elliot Rivers, Nathan Wilson.
Lamphey U12s 1
Tenby U12s 4
It was Hallowe'en come early for the U12s at Lamphey on Saturday as they faced scare after scare, before treating themselves to three in the last five minutes to retain their position at the top of the Pembrokeshire League.
An unusually lethargic Tenby team took time to settle against an energetic Lamphey side who were often first to the ball and could have easily taken all three points.
However, it was the Seasiders who took the lead when captain Spencer Williams cut inside from the left and fired a cracking shot into the roof of the net.
Lamphey came back very strongly and quickly won a corner. A low shot was fired in from just inside the area, but Tenby 'keeper William Davies pulled off a super save, diving low to his right to push the ball round the post.
Tenby then enjoyed a spell of pressure, but allowed Lamphey to get back into it with a quick break. Their striker sprinted through a shell-shocked Tenby defence and calmly slotted an equaliser into the corner of the goal.
To their credit, the Tenby defence regained their composure with Owen Coombs and Sam Perrett staying strong in the centre, and Luke Hartland and Tom Harries working hard on the flanks to thwart some rapid Lamphey breaks.
As half-time approached, Tenby looked more likely to take the lead. Adam John hit the crossbar with a lofted volley from outside the area. Charlie Gammer was put through on goal, and looked certain to score, before an offside was called. The striker was then unlucky to hit the outside of the post.
In the second half, Tenby changed their formation, with the versatile Charlie Gammer moving into the centre of midfield and Lloyd Hughes pushed up into his favoured attacking role. The Seasiders immediately looked more confident with a revitalised Scott Ferney making some darting runs and Spencer Williams firing another shot just over the bar.
Tenby had more chances to bury the game, but were denied by a couple of very narrow offsides and some robust Lamphey defending. At the other end, an apparent hand ball gifted Lamphey a free kick on the edge of the box. But William Davies pulled off a confident save.
Tenby definitely missed the impact of Dylan Rees who is currently on trial at Cardiff, and talented striker Declan Escott who played on bravely despite feeling unwell for much of the game.
Sensing that Tenby were not quite on top of their game, Lamphey kept looking for a winner. They created two or three good chances with some neat passing on the break, but a couple of brilliant saves from William Davies kept the visitors in it.
Having weathered the storm, Adam John then made the breakthrough putting Tenby 2-1 ahead. As Lamphey heads went down, Tenby always looked like adding a third, and it was no surprise when Scott Ferney struck from close range.
In the closing stages, Adam Muskett and Jake Morgan came on as wingbacks, and both looked strong against the tiring Lamphey attack and Charlie Gammer blasted in a fourth for Tenby.
The final scoreline was perhaps slightly flattering to the visitors, but showed that even when Tenby aren't playing brilliantly, they can still win games by working hard to the final whistle.
Thanks to the parents for their loyal support, and to Park Road Fish and Chips, the U12s generous kit sponsors.
HUNDLETON B U11s 0
TENBY U11s 20
The Andrew Price sponsored U11s played Hundleton B for the second week running. Playing at Cosheston on a pretty good pitch, Billy opened the scoring with a low shot past the home 'keeper. Adam added the second, while Ben scored from the left. Jack and Billy were everywhere and it was Jack who forced the defence to turn the ball past his own 'keeper.
George and Adam were linking-up well as George scored with a great right foot strike. Jordan, not to be out done, picked up the ball and forced his way just outside the box. His shot was covered, but he kept going and slotted the ball home.
Harry kept the side focused as he kept the team in check. He worked the right-hand well and crossed good balls for Billy to score a great header, also for George to score with another strong header. Ben supplied a cross from the left for Jack to smash home a great goal.
Malley who worked non-stop up the right of midfield got a well-deserved goal. He has been a revelation this season, keep it going Malley! Adam got on the sheet again with a poacher's goal so did Jack who fired in from 20 yards.
So it was four for Billy, four for Jack and George, a hat-trick for Adam, one-a-piece for Malley, Jordan, Harry and Ben. Not to be out done by the boys, Natty came up from goalkeeper for a corner and yes you guessed, completed the rout with a goal. Well done, but feet on the ground boys. Training Tuesday with focus on the next game.
Squad: Natty, Ben, Jordan, Billy, Jack, Harry (capt.), George, Adam, Malley.
Tenby U10s 8 Hundleton 0
Playing away to Hundleton at the Cosheston ground, the boys started well and soon took control of the ball, playing well in their positions.
In defence, Jack Broadhurst was in a strong position constantly pushed the ball back up into the Hundleton half with the help of Tom James.
Ryan, Caie and Tom tackled and passed the ball well, gaining possession. Their controlling and passing skills proved successful after a cross from Toby enabled Caie to score Tenby's first goal of the game.
Hundleton managed to break away and after a great run was denied an attempt on goal just going wide.
Ryan, Tom and Ben made some great runs and an attempt by Ben just went over the bar. Tenby continued to defend and tackle well and Hundleton were denied another attempt on goal after a great save by James Harris.
Danny scored Tenby's second goal following a cross from Toby, and his shot left the 'keeper with no chance of saving. Some brilliant footwork followed with great runs by Ryan Conbeer who was denied after a fantastic shot at goal.
Five minutes before half-time, a corner kick to Ben resulted in a brilliant header just going wide, however, Toby snook in Tenby's third goal just before the whistle blew for half-time leaving the Seasiders 3-0 up.
James Harris came out of his goalkeeping position and Jack Broadhurst put on his 'keeper's gloves for the second half and James proved he's not only a great keeper, but a goal scorer too. Not long into the final half, a great cross by Ryan resulted in James scoring a goal from a powerful header.
The boys continued to keep possession of the ball and dominated the game constantly pushing into the Hundleton half. Toby and Ben both scored with two great top corner goals. Hundleton again missed their chance at goal following another break away run, but were denied by a great save by Jack Broadhurst.
The last two goals of the game came from Danny which took Tenby to an 8-0 win. A great team result with the boys working well in their positions.
Thanks to Matt Broadhurst for being the ever-dedicated coach and to the parents for their continued support. A special thank you also goes to Carl Wainwright for his help and coaching assistance during training and matches.
Team: Danny Wainwright, Toby Poole, Jack Broadhurst, Caie Elms, James Harris, Tom Murphy, Ryan Conbeer, Ben Palin, Tom James.
HAKIN U9s 2
TENBY AFC U9s 0
After a victory over Kilgetty 5-3 in a local derby, Tenby Under 9s travelled to Hakin in the rain.
Despite the conditions, both sides played some excellent football. Henry McBeth made some fine saves in goal showing great bravery to keep Hakin at bay. The Tenby defence of Dylan Scotcher, Harry Williams and Ben Millwood, were solid in the tackle and linked up well with the midfield of Lewis Sarrionondia, Billy Lawrence, Harrison Duckett and Finlay Bowie, who all ran themselves into the ground having some fine efforts at goal, with Finlay Bowie producing shot-of-the-game from 20 yards out.
Lone striker Harry Cook did everything right apart from hit the net - his shots hit the crossbar, post and many goal line scrambles.
Eventually, Hakin managed to score two goals to seal the victory, but Tenby battled well and were very unlucky.
