Camrose under 16s 4 Tenby under 16s 1

Two goals in each half by Camrose dashed ND Toy sponsored Tenby's hopes of a cup final place, although during one second half spell of this semi- final clash, the Seasiders put a lot of pressure on their opponents' goal. Camrose went ahead after eight minutes with a cross-shot after a break down the left, while Tenby failed to take advantage of numerous free-kicks to get anything like a proper shot on target. Just as things began to flow for them, Tenby failed to clear their lines and conceded a spectacular goal from 20 yards out. With the wind behind them in the second half, Tenby gave a more spirited display, and after going further behind, the 3-0 scoreline gave them a jolt and Toby Smith scored to give some hope. Good work by James Howes and Alan Townsend in the Camrose penalty area nearly brought a lifeline for Tenby, but when a defensive mistake put Camrose 4-1 ahead, the three-goal difference proved too high a mountain to climb. This was the last game for the Tenby U16s side. The season has been an indifferent one, which has produced some good results and some very mediocre and disappointing displays. However, it must be remembered that this is from a squad who had missed playing together in the previous season. One of the highlights was the West Wales Cup game in January where every member of the squad played very well. Some bad luck and some errors which were punished during the campaign were a reminder of the hard work needed to be successful at this age level which affected results, but several players made a considerable improvement in their play (and discipline) as some reward for their attendances at training sessions and matches. Hopefully they will continue playing for Tenby at senior level next season. Angela and Mark would like to thank the boys for their commitment to the squad and also express their thanks to the small band of loyal supporters. Tenby squad: Richard Bridges, James Howes, Andrew Evans, Will Hughes, Chris Heesom, Toby Smith, Rhys Winter, Alan Townsend, Daryl Mansbridge, Lewis Hodgeson, John Squire, Lloyd Thomas, Tom Powell. Thanks to the Tenby match ball sponsor D. J. Mullholland. Players-of-the-match - James Howes and Lloyd Thomas.

TENBY U14s 6 JOHNSTON U14s 1

The Willow Carpentry sponsored Tenby Under 14s are through to their third final in as many years, after this thrilling semi-final against Johnston. The match, played at the picturesque setting of Carew, was a credit to both sides. The first half was as tight as any semi-final would be, with both defences solid and not giving an inch. Each side did have a couple of long range efforts, but these were either well saved by each goalkeeper or just wide of the target. The second half, however, erupted into action when Tenby took the lead after 10 minutes of play. A lovely weighted pass by Tenby's man-of-the- match, Jordan Richards, gave Will Thomas the time to draw the Johnston 'keeper out and calmly go round him to slide the ball into the back of the net. Tenby's celebrations had hardly finished when Johnston were level. A long ball, straight from the restart, bounced between two Tenby defenders and James Rulof nipped in to prod the ball past Jake Roberts in the Seasiders' goal. The deadlock, however, was broken again eight minutes later when Richards's corner was only half cleared and Ashley Smith scored through a crowd of players. Tenby increased their lead when Thomas was put through again by Richards and, although there was a slight hint of offside, the flag stayed down. The chase for the ball was won by the Johnston 'keeper, but his clearance was sliced to Smith, who hit his shot over everyone and into the empty goal. Johnnie Delahunty had a good run to the bye line, but his cross was well saved by the Johnston 'keeper and Alex Heesom had a similar run which saw him pull the ball back to Greg Lees-Griffiths, whose cross to the near post was deftly flicked in by Thomas to claim Tenby's fourth. Dan Edwards made ground down the left wing before releasing Richards, who cut inside his marker and shot just inside the near post. The last goal was scored by Aaron Roberts, who raced onto a long ball from Richards and skilfully lobbed the advancing 'keeper from 18 yards.
