Members met at the start of the month to review the past year and to organise the new one.
Chairman/tutor Jan Griffiths welcomed everyone and said that 2013 would be a very special one for the club as it would be 25-years-old. Everyone agreed that there should be a celebration and possibly a small festival to mark this.
She presented a programme of titles for the monthly practice sessions, and also dates for coffee mornings. Secretary Wendy Bell said that printed programmes would be ready for the next meeting.
Treasurer Maureen Fry gave an update on the finances and asked for approval for a proposed change of bank. This was given.
Closing the meeting, Jan reminded members that the next practice session was on Monday, February 18, at 2 pm, in St. Mary's Church House.
The meeting is open to anyone who is interested in the art of flower arranging and new faces are always welcome. At this meeting, Jan will also be demonstrating.
