TENBY exile, Pegi Webster (nee John), of Australia, had a pleasant surprise recently when she was flicking through a recent Sunday edition of the Sun Herald to find a feature all about Wales.
And much to her delight, included within the spread was a page article all about Tenby, with a colour photograph of the harbour and one of the streetscape of Southcliffe Gardens.
Titled 'Something in the Water', the special promotion detailed the town's history and also followed local guide, Marion Davies, on one of her trails.
Pegi, who now know lives in Glen Waverley, Victoria, sends greetings from 'Down Under' and says she enjoys keeping up to date with the local news thanks to her friend Veronica Thomas, of Clareston Road, who supplies her with Observers and copies of the Tenby Times.
