On Thursday afternoon, February 8, a packed lower schoolroom at St. Johns Church, Tenby, heard Mrs. Penelope Lamb deliver a fascinating talk upon 'Video Animation' to the members and friends of Tenby Cymrodorion Society.

Mrs. Lamb, who has worked in this field for a number of years, brought along several of the puppets which are used in the animation process, much to the delight of members.

Together with the puppets, Mrs. Lamb explained, using a specially developed video-television set, the processes of animation as used in the production of Bible stories - for which she is renowned.

To the enthusiastic comment of members, the speaker showed a splendid series of extracts from 'Elijah'; the prophet sent to Nineveh; Abraham and Isaac; and the life of Jesus: describing the 24 movements of the animation which result in only one or two seconds of film. It was truly a talk which ended all too soon.

Mrs. Lamb was warmly thanked for her address by society president, Mr. Jim Phillips. Light refreshments were then served.

Members are reminded of the annual lunch to be held at the Giltar Hotel, Tenby, on St. David's Day, at 12.30 for 1 pm.

The next meeting of the society is on March 8 - the AGM and a short talk by Mr. J. Cochlin. The meeting will be held as usual in the lower schoolroom of St. Johns Church, Tenby, at 2.30 pm. All are welcome, particularly new members, Light refreshments will be served.
