Tenby Civic Society recently donated £250 to Tenby Museum and Art Gallery to help support new bilingual interpretive panels for the museum's Local History section.

New panels are now on display detailing anniversaries within the town, on aviator Henri Salmet's visit and the purchase of St. Catherine's Island by the Windsor-Richards family (both 1914), the return of the pleasure boats and the formation of Tenby Round Table (both 1954).

Neil Westerman said: "It is good to see local societies supporting the museum in these difficult financial times. The donation is much appreciated."
