St. Johns URC/Methodist Church in Tenby is seeking enthusiastic pianists or organists to assist with the organ playing at Sunday services and/or on special occasions.
"We currently have two organists on the rota, but would like more," said a spokesperson. "Church music is a very important part of Welsh culture, history and worship and we would be delighted to welcome anyone who wants to participate in this quest.
"This is an opportunity for anyone who is currently a budding piano or organ player. We have several accomplished musicians in the congregation who would be willing to give free advice on development of organ playing, music theory and composition if required.
"The organ is a well kept, well used instrument dating back to the 1800s and has been played over the past century or so by a number of distinguished musicians."
St. Johns is a friendly, welcoming church, which has a busy life and is used by a number of community associations during the week, such as a variety of choirs, the Arts Club, the Cymrodorion Society, as well as Wednesday coffee mornings, Monday craft club and Friday market.
