Staff and volunteers from Tenby's Cancer Research UK shop in Tudor Square have raised £1 million pounds for the charity. And to mark their achievement, Tenby manager Julia King Thomas and assistant manager Claire Davidson, together with the volunteers (pictured), attended a celebratory Christmas lunch at the Morgans Hotel, Swansea, on Monday, December 3. Also in attendance at the event were representatives from the Port Talbot and Swansea shops who had also each raised the six-figure sum, and area manager Helen Evans. Guest speaker was Steve Gee, head of the volunteers department, while a special commemorative cake was also cut to mark the occasion.
