This year's Tenby Firemen's Carnival (Wednesday, August 1) is going to be Olympic-themed, but it is ok if entrants want their own theme as well.

The firefighters have their very own Olympic-themed rugby shirt for sale, too, but they wouldn't have one if it wasn't for help from their shirt sponsors.

Main sponsor is Tenby House Hotel, with other sponsorship from County Financial, Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim, Hurlow Construction, Scaffold 2000, DJ"s, GWD, Tredeml Print, Andrew Price, Qube Restaurant, Mews Surf and Turf Restaurant, Broadfield Caravan Site, LG Leisure, and FBM.

Sion Brace, carnival chairman, extends his and the station's thanks to all the sponsors and hopes there will be a good turnout of floats and walking entrants.

"We have a big prize for the best Olympic-themed float," said Sion. "If any one needs a float, ring me at Tenby Fire Station every Tuesday between 6 and 9 pm."
