Congratulations to Anna Bolton of Charlton Cards in Tenby who won the Town Council’s award for ‘best shop window display’ over the recent Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend.

As part of the seaside town’s celebrations to mark the occasion, as well the beacon lighting ceremony on Castle Hill to join the nationwide chain of beacons marking the Jubilee; and a Grand Parade through the streets; local businesses were also encouraged to dress their shop windows for the Jubilee, with judging taking place over the special Bank Holiday weekend.

Anna was presented with her award this week by Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sam Skyrme-Blackhall and Deputy Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane.

“The standard was very high, and we were so thrilled that so many businesses took part, making the decision very difficult - but huge congratulations to Anna Bolton of Charlton Cards for all her window displays. She has truly excelled herself during the Jubilee,” said the Mayor.
