In spite of adverse weather conditions, 13 pairs attended bridge on Wednesday, January 23. The results were as follows: 1. Liz Crockford and Kevin Thomas 67.08 per cent; 2.Jill and John O'Sullivan 62.50; 3. Carmel Wiseman and Graham Hadlow 56.67; 4. Lucy Brooker and Pam Evans 55.42.

Friday, January 25: North/South - 1. Chris Overton and Angela John 57.74 per cent; 2. Nicky Hancock and Peter Oeppen 56.55l 3. Irene Delahunty and Colin Steer 55.65. East/West - 1. John and Jill O'Sullivan 59.05 per cent; 2. Alan Hassal and Derek Thomas 57.94; 3. Anthony Stevens and Ashleigh Scrimshaw 54.76.
