Eightieth birthday celebrations were held at the club just recently for one of Tenby Bridge Club's longest members, Mr. Ray Bowen.

A little party was given for Ray, along with a lovely birthday cake. A wonderful evening was had by all, and a big thank you was given by Ray!

Results, Wednesday, October 6: 1. Liz Crockford and Kevin Thomas 60.94 per cent; 2. Mags Davies and Colin Steer 58.85; 3. John and Jill O'Sullivan 57.87; 4. Coral Jones and Cindy Middleton 53.70 per cent.

A warm welcome was given to the club secretary on Friday upon her return from her latest travels.

The club had five full tables in play and the results were as follows: 1. Ashleigh Scrimshaw and Jean Pollard 67.13 per cent; 2. Brenda Harries and Marnie Owens 58.80; 3. Phil Rogers and Jo Davies 57.41; 4. Irene Delahunty and Mags Davies 53.70 per cent.

Duplicate bridge is played twice weekly in Kilgetty.
